Alpha Male

Does being an Alpha Male really matter? When you go anywhere, everyone recognises you and everyone knows who you are and respects you. For those of you that do no know the definition of Alpha Male, http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=alpha%20male "In a modern/human sense, younger males (teens, early 20s) will subscribe to the classical form. Like a lion, they will often be the strongest, most intimidating, hit on all of the women beta males want, are usually the first to have new sexual experiences and often dominate a set territory in thier 'hunt' for new women, such as local nightclub scenes. Older alpha males, however, will evolve the classical traits of stength, intimidation and dominance beyond the physical by gaining power over men through thier very means of living and professional reputation. A powerful business executive, for example, will hire, promote, demote and fire others according to how well they serve his own interests. Rock stars, famous actors and other individuals of 'power' hold very similar capabilities over others in their respective professions." You will see it everywhere. In every group or social circle, there is always an Alpha, one that dominates the entire's group or social circle choices. There are blogs and guidelines that you can find anywhere stating that being an Alpha Male gets you the girl but to certain extend. Alpha Males are usually the rich and the cocky where they possess one of the traits below. 1) Confident 2) Charming 3) Able to communicate themselves. Of course willingly to spend which we can generally push them into the "yuppies" category. Women, by gene nature are generally attracted to Alpha Males. Imagine going on a date and the staff knows your date. Younger alpha males are easier to put down that older alpha males as stated above. But my real question is, "does being an Alpha Male really matter or is it just Males being Egoistical?
